Winchester Model 94 Carbine Pre War
Description: Sold Winchester Model 94 Pre War Carbine manufactured in 1941. 32 WS and still has the early 1894 features: 2nd model hammer, upper tang marked, style 55 buttplate, 32 WS caliber marking, and long forend. 20" barrel and full magazine tube retain 90% of their original blue. The bore is in great condition, I will rate it an 8.5 on a scale from 1 to 10. All markings are nice and sharp and the screws are in very nice condition. Original front and rear sights, still has the original factory front sight hood. Receiver retains 80 to 85% original blue. Both forend and buttstock are in very good condition, showing the normal handling marks that you would expect to see from a gun of this vintage. 1940 and 1941 manufactured Model 94's are very difficult to locate because of the small number manufactured during the war years. Must ship to a FFL or Curio and Relics license holder. This firearm as with any other should be checked first by a gunsmith before any attempt is made to fire / operate it.
