Winchester Model 94 Eastern Carbine Cal. 32 Win. Spl. Made 1922
Description: Winchester Model 94 Eastern Carbine (no saddle ring), 20" round barrel with pinned blade front sight, special order 3 leaf express rear sight, full magazine, gumwood stocks, steel carbine butt, plain trigger, blued finish, nickel steel barrel. Serial number 917110 places manufacture in late 1922. CONDITION: Receiver has lost its blue and what color remains is dark staining. Mag tube is a dull plum. Barrel has some fine aged original blue mixed with some bright cold blue that was added after some pitting was cleaned off. Bore is excellent, a 9 of 10, sharp rifling, bright and shiny, just a smidgen of frost forming. Action is crisp and tight with a properly working half cock safety. Stocks are sound with no splits or cracks, a bit shy at the tangs but do not appear to have been cleaned or sanded. Looks like at some point someone converted it to a 2/3 mag carbine as there is a small groove in the bottom of the barrel where the pitting is (from a barrel band), but it does not go all the way through into the bore and will not affect accuracy or function. Worth my asking price in parts. Will make a fine shooter/hunter upon inspection by a competent gunsmith. TERMS: No international sales and no sales to Alaska or Hawaii.
