This had not been fiddled with except the saddle ring has been removed so the desireable Lyman 21 (Climan Lyman) could be used. These sights alone are worth a few hundred $ to collectors. This one has the small apature. The actual saddle rings are avail from various sources and would go right back in the factory hole. Normal carry wear but NO abuse, no touch up or other. Carbine butt has never had a sling swivel installed and is fully intact. Overall retains about 70% of original finish on both metal and stock set

Overall condition is exceptional for a gun closiing in on 100 yrs old. (we also have here at the moment a true antique in exceptional condition made in 1897, chambered in 30 30)
