"WWI Winchester Model 1917 Bolt Action Rifle – .30-06 (L2025-11922)
Description: "Serial No. 184760, manufactured in March 1918, chambered in .30-06 with a 26"" round barrel marked “W / Flaming Bomb / 2-18." Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling intact. This rifle was later arsenal refurbished for WWII service, a common and historically significant second life for Model 1917 rifles. The left side of the stock bears the desirable “OGEK" inspection cartouche for Elmer Keith at Ogden Arsenal, a well-known U.S. Army inspector Stock shows light handling from service use.
