WINCHESTER PRE-64, MODEL 100, .284 WINCHESTER MADE in 1963
Description:
PRE-64 WINCHESTER Model 100 in the Scarce .284 Winchester Caliber, made in 1963. This Winchester Model 100 is a great example of a good honest rifle. It has been used, but never altered. It has some minor stock blemishes, but nothing serious. The metal is very nice with very little blue wear, just a little at the muzzle from being slid into a case. The action is tight and operates smoothly. It has a unique bolt that has twin shell ejectors for positive ejection of a fired case. The bore is excellent with sharp riflings. The bore of the rifle was always cleaned using a muzzle protector and the crown looks like new. The rifle is drilled and tapped for scope mounting but there is no evidence of ever having a scope mount installed. The iron sights are intact and allow for a fine aim.
I have endeavored to take accurate photos that show the actual condition of this rifle. Many of them are extreme close-ups that make it look worse than it actually does. To hold it in your hands, it seems to be a very nice rifle. The .284 Winchester caliber shoots 7 mm bullets that are balistically efficient. The ballistics are comparable to a .280 Remington and approach the power of a 7mm Magnum. Many Deer and even Elk and even Moose have fallen to this cartridge. Because of its size, it can be chambered in this compact semi-auto. The Model 100 is fun to shoot, and offers quick follow-up shots.

Return Policy Guidelines of GunsInternational Unless the buyer and seller agree to modify, as may be the case in a new gun, layaway, international sales and for used guns and accessories it must be clearly marked in the listing as No Return, the return policy is three (3) calendar days from the day the item(s) are received by the buyer or delivered to the FFL acting for the buyer. The item may be returned for any reason, but the buyer must notify the seller within the three (3) calendar day inspection period. The buyer must start the return within the next four (4) calendar days to receive a complete refund, less all shipping, transaction fees and FFL charges. On a return the buyer must not remove the firearm from the FFL premises without approval of the seller. Once the firearm has been received by the seller and inspected a prompt refund will be issued. Shipping must start within one week of receipt of the item(s). The return shipping must be of equal shipping level, including insurance i.e... Priority, Express, Blue Label etc. The return item MUST be in the same condition as when shipped to the buyer. This is an inspection period only, a gun is not to be fired or disassembled. Sellers written permission is required to allow the buyer to take down a takedown model during the inspection period. Upon the receipt and inspection of the returned gun, the seller agrees to issue a prompt refund. Recommendation: Confirm purchase with all details via the Contact Seller form within the listing and print out the listing for your records. Industry standard is that if a buyer fails to perform on a layaway that any monies deposited are forfeited. GunsInternational recommends all layaways are agreed in writing.
