1866 Winchester SRC Special Order
Description: 1866 Winchester Saddle Ring Carbine manufactured in 1870. Special ordered 1/2 nickel. All parts where nickel except barrel and magazine tube. 20" barrel and magazine tube retain traces of original blue with the majority a nice even brown / gray patina. Original front and rear sights. Good bore I will rate it a 6 maybe 6.5 on a scale from 1 to 10. Receiver shows a fair amount of original nickel remaining. There is traces of nickel still present on buttplate, barrel bands, and saddle ring. Assembly numbers match tang, buttstock, and buttplate. Action functions nicely. Still in .44 Rimfire. Both forend and buttstock are in good condition: showing normal handling marks. There is a tiny crack on the belly of forend just in front of barrel band. Just a nice honest special ordered 1866 Winchester SRC. Please feel free to ask questions. Antique and can be shipped directly to your doorsteps.
