WINCHESTER MODEL 1866 SRC IN CALIBER 44 RF
Description:
Wood is in generally good condition. Slightly undersized at the butt. It has brass carbine style buttplate. It is a high number gun in the 160k range. Nice action. Original front sight and of the period replacement rear sight. Correct saddle ring. There is a slight loss at the upper tang. The brass receiver has been engraved with several animal heads and some acorns. Makes it an interesting gun. Receiver has turned a dark brass color. The barrel also has a yellow color.
