Description:
.44rf, #128227, 20 inch barrel, blued iron, brass frame and butt plate, walnut stock and forearm, original sights, cleaning rod in butt, 1876.
Condition: excellent bore, black powder oxidation with sharp rifling, 95% barrel and tube blue starting to tone to plum, brass is smooth uncleaned mustard color, stock has a couple of dog's hair cracks close to receiver on right side, otherwise handling and use dings, deep rich reddish colored walnut, excellent mechanically, excellent marks.
