Description:
Presented here for your consideration, is a special order Winchester 1873, serial #307074B, manufactured with a rare 1/2 ocatgon/1/2 round barrel. Made in 1889, the receiver has 70% blue, but very little on the barrel and magazine. The bore is very good, and would, in my opinion, rate a solid 7 or better. The scarce barrel configuration is what makes this piece unique: I’ve seen only 4 or 5 of the 1/2 ocatgon/1/2 round barrels in my more than 30 years of collecting ‘73’s A really neat piece which would be a welcome addition to any collection.
