"Case Hardened Winchester 1873 .38-40 (AW86)

Case Hardened Winchester 1873 .38-40 caliber rifle. Made in 1882. Has a 24" .38-40 caliber barrel. Very sharp gun. Barrel has a mixture of blue and a smooth plum patina. This gives the illusion of more finish than is actually present. Frame has around 30% original case colors. Stock is very fine with XX wood and has a shotgun butt. Bore is excellent with a bright and shiny bore! Beautiful gun and very hard to find case hardened Winchester 1873!
