*Sale Pending* - WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 RIFLE IN 44 WCF


Description:
24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 44 WCF caliber with a rough bore that has visible rifling but light roughness throughout. Sights include a German silver blade front with a sporting rear. The elevator is a replacement. Barrel and full length magazine tube are a gray/brown patina with a few light scratches and dings. Receiver is a gray patina with traces of blue in the protected areas. Loading gate is a gray/blue. Hammer and lever are a gray/brown. Action functions correctly. Walnut forearm has numerous dings and shows quite a bit of wear. Buttstock also shows some indentations and handling mars with a rifle style buttplate. No cleaning rods present in the trapdoor. This 3rd Model rifle was manufactured in 1889 and has the look like it has been out there winning the West.
