Winchester 1873 .38 WCF caliber rifle. Rare 32” barrel model 1873. .38-40 caliber with factory letter. Factory letter is unusual as it lists the name of the owner it was shipped to as well as the hardware store in Montgomery, Alabama. Gun was shipped January 12, 1912. Bore is excellent. Action works perfectly. Barrel and magazine tube have approximately 95% plus original blue. Receiver has approximately 40-45% blue. Stocks are very good with minor handling marks. Gun has both tang sight and barrel rear sight. Front sight is a wind gauge sight. Very fine condition for a rare .32 inch ‘73 with a neat letter. Comes with 5 piece original cleaning rod in the butt!
