1873 Winchester Serial #19
Description: This is the lowest number Winchester 1873 on the market. Here is a very desirable early Winchester model 1873 serial number 19. Yeah, thats right #19. Has all the 1st model features: no trigger block, a bushing around the firing pin, raised thumbprint dust cover, early barrel address, Model 1873 marked on the lower tang and 5 groove rifling. This particular rifle has a rocky mountain blade front sight and buckhorn rear. Sling swivel on the butt stock but missing on the forend. Non-factory inscribed side plate. Factory records indicate 24 inch octagon barrel and single set trigger. Also states 1/4 inch extra length stock. Gun is a fine unaltered specimen for being almost 150 years old. Metal is gray brown. The walnut stock and forend are very solid and fit well with a few bumps and bruises as you can see. Screws are good and a decent bore. A serious 1873 for a serious collection.
