1873 Winchester Special Order 2nd Model Long Barrel
Description: Special Order 2nd Model 1873 in 44-40. This rifle comes with factory letter confirming it's configuration. Rifle has the rare shotgun butt (steel) and 26" barrel. The barrel and magazine tube is a gray / brown patina with blue in protected areas. Barrel address is nice and sharp. Correct front and rear sights. Good bore, I will rate it a 7.5 on a scale from 1 to 10. Receiver is also a gray / brown patina with original blue in protected areas. Original dust cover is still present. Action functions nicely. Both forend and buttstock are in good condition. The forend is showing cracks in the corners of the barrel / frame conjunction. All in all a good used but not abuse 1873 2nd Model Winchester with desirable special order features. Antique and can be shipped directly to your doorsteps, please know your state laws.
