1881 Winchester 1873 44-40 SRC

Description:
Good looking Winchester 1873 44-40 SRC with 3 leaf folding rear sight. Manufactured 1881 per Cody. Bore is better than average with full rifling, but show a somewhat common slight ring ahead of mag tube ring. on the inside nothing, it is not visible on the exterior of the barrel. Mainly gray gun that was probably cleaned and polished years ago.. good Winchester barrel legend but the kings improvement line had faded away. Carrier is inscription is very strong. Metal is clean without any deep pits. Butt stock shows an excellent professional repair. trap door butt plate. Antique
