Caliber 44 WCF, 20" barrel and a saddle ring with a carbine butt. This is the 1873 that all cowboy action shooters and collectors are looking for. 136 years of history in this fine old Winchester! Has the original early front and rear carbine sights. Original dust cover. Original saddle ring. Good metal that has aged to a brown/gray patina. Good markings. Bore has a nice shine to it with good rifling. Scattered light roughness. May clean up even better. Forearm has the typical crack. The stock has been sanded long ago, and is a little shy at the tangs and butt plate. This gun has great eye appeal, and a great price. You don't see Second Model's come around very often, and this one has what everyone is looking for.
