Description:
This is not only a 1st model but it is a special order 1st model 1873! Case colored frame, 2X dlx wood with checkering, short mag tube, oct bbl and set trigger. All these special order features plus very high condition! Nearly all bbl blue remains. Light wear to the octagons, a little at the muzzle and a couple of light handling marks. That's about it. The case colored frame has most color remaining fading somewhat. Some vivid color in protected areas. Hammer and lever also have good case. The buttplate still has visible case colors which is almost unseen. This gun has very little use as even the loading gate has just about all the bright factory blue and hardly any marks from loading cartridges. The bore is just as nice as the rest of the gun! This has the orig short style rear sight with the flat step elevator and German Silver front sight. Inside the buttplate trapdoor is the orig cleaning rod. This fine gun comes with a Winchester Letter.
