The icing on the cake is that this is a Cody verified factory short rifle. It also has the highly unusual feature of having a saddle ring. This is the 3rd Winchester rifle we have encountered like this, and it sure makes it special. Made in the year of our Lord 1909, she is in absolutely fine condition for being 116 years old.
