Poncho Villa-Winchester 1873 -Short Rifle-NO FFL
Description:
My personal Carbine-quite obviously a Mexican altered '73..Mfg.1894. Lots of unrecorded history behind this Winchester. Ser.479958(1894). cal.32wcf. Wife purchased this Win. at the Gadsden Hotel in Douglas,AZ-1965 where it was displayed over the Lounge-Bar area for a wedding anniv. gift to me....where a sign was posted above it-"Poncho Villa's Mounted Army". Oct.bb'l.=16-1/8in.//o.a.=35in. Forearm has been shortened. All matching numbers. Bore is V.good but worn. barrel in plumb patina. Leather is excellent yet quite aged..stitching is the original & secure. Action works smoothly and IS Tight. It is quite obvious this Winchester saw much service BEFORE the Mex. Revolution. The nice engraving is Mexican & Period correct including the leather stock covering. NO FFL except Calif. to ship/own. S&H=$45.00 conUSA. Perhaps some Mexicano would appreciate this Historic weapon. NOTE: This Winchester is also offered elsewhere. Payment via Cashiers check/personal or US Postal M.O..Shipping upon clearance of payment.
