This is a civilian-market rifle designated as the 'Boys (girls!) rifle' because oif its smaller frame, light weight. and small calibre. Rifle is 39-inches overall with a 24-inch octogon barrel with minor scratches and wear marks. Barrel is stamped 'Belgium' on underside. Maker's marks stamped on top of barrel (T with a star), Belgian proof mark stamped on receiver (left side). Stock and forearm wood is excellent (right side has small recess at receiver as shown, receiver faded blue, barrel brown patina. Blade front sight and buckhorn style rear sight. Butt plate is steel.
