SPECIAL ORDER WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 DELUXE RIFLE IN 38 WCF

Description:
24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 38 WCF caliber with a very good bore showing some light roughness and distinct rifling. Sights include a Rocky mountain blade front and semi buckhorn sporting rear. Professionally restored barrel retains about 90% of the blue finish with enhanced markings and just a couple wear spots. Special order button magazine. Receiver, hammer and lever show very strong case colors with some scattered spots of pinprick type pitting on the receiver. Very good nitre blue on the loading gate. Dust cover also retains most all blue. Crisp functioning action. Deluxe checkered walnut straight grip stock and forearm have been refreshed and have light handling marks and worn checkering. Rifle style buttplate has good case colors present as does the forend cap. This Deluxe Second Model 1873 Winchester rifle has been professionally restored and looks very fine. Almost hard to tell. Comes with a factory letter confirming configuration and 1882 manufacture date.
