US Marked Winchester 1873

Description:
Interesting Winchester 1873 Short rifle 44-40.  
I believe this is a US gun that someone was fond of and so cut it down to 20".  For a hunting gun.  It letters as a 44-40 rifle.  No mention of short rifle and you can tell it's been cut down.  Anyway.   But with Winchester you don't get a destination.  To make a long story. Longer.  
it is serial number 114,000.  Which is unusual.  I know there's a following for even serial numbers.  I once owned serial number 110,000.  And had a guy buy it and he told me to contact him if I found another one.  
Well.   About 2 phones later I've lost a lot of my contacts.   Thanks, phone company for that.  
This is US Marked and inspector marked correctly.  
Has factory engraved side plates.  Those can be desirable.  If someone needs em.  
This gun has a great bore and action.   I certainly wouldn't mind shooting it for someone if they wanted.
