VERY INTERESTING WINCHESTER MUSKET
Description:
This musket has "London Armory Curren Company" on the side plate. Also several markings on the right side of the stock including the Curren company and their address Queen Victoria London. There is also some rack marks. I do not know what they were for. Also in large letters " U S S CO" and a couple of numbers. This was some sort of a rack gun for some security outfit or facility. It has the normal British proof marks. Gun is VG with good bbl blue. Some light freckling at the muzzle. Light pin pricking in spots. Receiver has 90%+ aging blue. Some scratches and mars. A lot of these company rack guns didn't get a lot of use and this one didn't. Nice tight action and excellent bore. High condition interesting 73 musket!
