Winchester 1873 1st Model Saddle Ring Carbine. Made in 1875. .44-40 Caliber with a 20” barrel. Metal has a brown patina and shows normal use. Wood shows some use and has some repairs. Dust cover is missing. This gun should have a raised thumbprint dust cover. Very rare carbine to find this early.
