Description: Winchester 1873 .32-20cal manufactured 1895 with a 24” barrel. This archetypal firearm is known by its marketing slogan “The Gun that Won the West”. A collectors or investors piece that will remain timeless. In all, over 720,000 Model 1873s were produced up until 1923, with this model 1872 being marked as S#“484XXXB” placing the manufacture date, as stated before, to roughly 1895. Wood is in great shape for its age, only normal user wear. Finish looks good, the most significant wear is on the distal end of the magazine tube, with nonuniform pitting. Dings reside mostly on the underside of the octagonal barrel, with some of them on the receiver, accompanied by mostly superficial scratches. In amazing shape for its age and price. Please refer to pictures for a better inquiry about condition. Also note a missing screw on the right-hand side of the receiver. SOLD |
