Winchester 1873 .38-40 (W6722)

Description:

Winchester 1873 .38-40 caliber rifle. Manufactured in 1894 with 24” barrel. Bore has strong rifling and is dark in the grooves. Finish has been removed t some point and now has a gray patina. The side plates were jeweled and then most of the jeweling was removed. Wood is good with dents and dings, no cracks. Good overall condition. Note: the forearm has a crack from end to end and has another crack nearest to the muzzle.
