This Winchester Model 1873 is a right hand action lever action repeating rifle in .44 Cal. It has a 24 inch round barrel and smooth walnut oil finished straight grip stock. The forearm has a steel cap and there is a small storage compartment in the steel crescent butt. The receiver has side plates, a right side loading port and sliding top cover. Manufactured in 1885 it has serial number 180XXXA. This rifle is in overall good condition for its age.
