WINCHESTER 1873 DELUXE RIFLE WITH SPECIAL ORDER HALF OCTAGON BARREL
Description: The checkered forearm and pistol grip stock are deluxe XXX wood. Pistol grip has an ebony grip insert. 24 inch half octagon barrel chambered in 44 caliber with button mag. Original sights. Bright shiny bore with sharp rifling. Would benefit from a good cleaning. Might be some minor pits but should shoot real good. Nice checkering shows some wear but has not been re-cut. Shotgun style buttplate. Most original varnish remains. Barrel has good traces of original blue with the balance turning a plum color. Case hardened receiver has turned a silver color. Good markings. Excellent functioning action. Correct dust cover. Set trigger that works.
