Winchester 1873 in 44 WCF mfg 1887

Description:
I have a Winchester model 1873 that was manufactured in 1887. This old Winchester has seen a lot of use over the years. At some point, somebody cut the octagon barrel down to 19 inches. I pulled a Cody firearms letter, but there wasn't much information, this was a pretty standard 1873. The lever action works, but it's difficult to close unless you turn the rifle up upside down. It would make a great rifle to restore or a great wall hanger
