Winchester 1873 Rifle in 32 Cal.
Description: ***SOLD*** Solid, representative example of a good Winchester 1873 in 32-20 Caliber. S/N 212189 made in 1886. Lots of original finish remains, showing a consistent mixture of strong blue and a gray/brown patina on the metal, and fairly bright original finish left on the wood. There are some more moderate dings along the stock's toe line, but otherwise, most marks are limited to the surface with no deep gouges, mars, or cracks anywhere. The stocks have never been sanded or refinished. 24" octagon barrel with an excellent bore. Mechanical functions are fine. Steel crescent buttplate. Sights consist of a Marbles front, Winchester sporting rear and long range tang sight with very fine aperture. Please add $100 for expedited and fully insured shipping from Alaska.
