All metal surfaces are mostly smooth with good deal of the original finish that is thinning and started to turn slightly brown in places. Hammer and lever have a good amount of darkening case colors visible, Wood is solid and nice fitting with a few handling marks here and there and light coat of finish added. The mechanics are smooth and tight, Bore is excellent, bright and shiny with strong rifling, This rifle has a lot of eye appeal.
