24 inch full octagon barrel chambered in 38 WCF caliber. Full mag. Crescent butt. Barrel is a blue/plum patina while the mag is a plum/brown coloration. A good bore that may clean up to be even better. Crisp action. Front sight blade has been replaced with a nickel and the original sporting rear and a tang sight too. Receiver is a plum/brown color with original blue in the protected areas around the side plates. Wood is good with the usual handling mars. Stock has been lightly sanded but they didn't get carried away. This is a good honest looking Winchester from 1888
