Winchester 1873 Saddle Ring in 44-40

Description:
Winchester 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine in 44-40. Round barrel full magazine, crescent butt with trap door butt plate. Original dust cover. Forend has the obligatory crack, and butt stock shows some wear and roughness I would call the whole gun above average for a SRC. Mechanically excellent with a very smooth action. Original rear sight. Finish is a dark gray possibly an old reblue but the edges and lettering are all every crisp and sharp 1889 production. Bore is typical at a 4 or 5 and slight ring but remains shootable with rifling throughout. An excellent affordable 73 SRC
