Winchester Model 1873 32 WCF Rifle Very Good, Special Order, Antique, Ships Direct
Description: Special order Winchester Model 1873 rifle in caliber 32 WCF aka 32-20 with set trigger. All other features are standard - 24" octagon barrel, full magazine, plain walnut stocks, open sights, crescent butt with solid steel butt plate (no trap door was correct for this caliber). Cody email sheet, which will be provided to the buyer, verifies configuration and shows serial number 361894 was shipped January 1891 to order # 24332. Standard octagon rifle with excellent stocks, bore is 8 of 10 and way better than you typically find for this caliber, tight dust cover, tight mag tube. Fed some rounds through it and it worked fine. Gray day so the pics won’t show the bright blue that remains on the back half of the receiver, upper and lower tangs. Half cock safety works. Set trigger adjustment screw is missing and set trigger option does not function but rifle still fires in the standard method. Rear sight is Winchester but a later replacement. Standard German silver blade front sight. Good honest 1873 Winchester. TERMS: Shipping to the Continental US States will be a flat $40 with insurance optional and additional if requested.
