Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle serial number 132086, WCF, 24 inch round barrel with a fair-good bore showing some light pitting its full lenght and bright areas with generally good rifling thoughout.
Rifle made in 1893.
Metal has mostly toned to a nice smooth plum-brown patina with some lighter grey along the high edges and scattered old handling marks. There are some generous streaks of original bright blue throughout the protected areas of the action, the lifter is a nice ocher patina with strong caliber marking and the loading gate retains flashes of nice fire blue.
The lever and hammer show subtle smoky gray case-hardening and all markings remain strong.
The plain walnut stocks remain in very good plus condition showing a little older added varnish and scattered dings from the years. The rifle is sighted with flattop sporting rear sight and a Lyman silver bead front and the action seems to function normally.
