Fair condition, wood is in mostly good condition with good finish and some scratches. Barrel bluing shows wear on top near the receiver and right side near the muzzle. See pictures. The Winchester Model 1873 chambered in .32 WCF (.32-20) is a legendary lever-action repeater. Introduced in 1882, it was the first small-game cartridge offered for the '73 platform. Cowboys and frontiersmen prized it because they could carry one bag of ammunition for both their rifle and revolver. Manufactured 1920-23 Key Specifications & Features Caliber: .32 WCF (Winchester Center Fire, also known as .32-20). Action: Dust-covered, toggle-link lever-action. (The 1873 was dubbed "The Gun That Won the West"). Barrel Types: Produced in round, half-octagon, and full-octagon profiles, with lengths varying from 14" (Trapper) up to 36" (Special Order). Magazine Capacity: Full-length magazine tubes generally held 15 rounds, though capacity varied by barrel length. Sights: Standard configurations usually included drift-adjustable buckhorn rear sights and blade front sights.
