Cowboys and frontiersmen prized it because they could carry one bag of ammunition for both their rifle and revolver. Manufactured 1920-23 Key Specifications & Features Caliber: .32 WCF (Winchester Center Fire, also known as .32-20). Action: Dust-covered, toggle-link lever-action. (The 1873 was dubbed "The Gun That Won the West"). Barrel Types: Produced in round, half-octagon, and full-octagon profiles, with lengths varying from 14" (Trapper) up to 36" (Special Order). Magazine Capacity: Full-length magazine tubes generally held 15 rounds, though capacity varied by barrel length.
