WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 RIFLE CHAMBERED IN 44 WCF

Description:
24 inch octagon barrel chambered in the desirable 44 WCF caliber with a minty bright and shiny bore with excellent rifling. Full length magazine. Original Sporting front and Sporting rear sights. The hammer, trigger and lever retain about all of the original case colors. Walnut stocks are clean and solid showing only light handling marks. This late production 1873 appears nearly unused and except for the finish flaking on the receiver and forearm cap, is in near new condition. The manufacture date is somewhat in question. The WACA serial number look up shows it was manufactured 1913, but the Cody letter shows it “Received into the packing room on May 6, 1916”.
