WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 RIFLE IN 44 WCF WITH 1/2 MAGAZINE

Description:
24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 44 WCF caliber with a bright bore that has strong rifling. Sights include a German silver blade front and a flattop sporting rear. Barrel has thinning blue with scattered light scratches and marks. Special order half length button magazine. Receiver has thinning blue with some scratches and light frecking. Faint traces of case colors on the hammer and lever. About 50% blue on the loading gate. Crisp functioning action. Walnut stock set has a worn appearance with some handling mars and a noticeable dent on the right side of the stock. Rifle style buttplate with no cleaning rod in the trapdoor. A special order Winchester rifle that got used and was made in 1888.
