WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 SPECIAL ORDER RIFLE IN 32 WCF WITH 28 INCH BARREL

Description:
Special order 28 inch half octagon barrel chambered in 32 WCF caliber with a VG shootable bore. Sights include a blade front and sporting rear. Barrel and full length magazine are a gray patina with traces of original blue in the protected areas. Receiver has traces of case colors in protected areas with balance turning a nickel color. Hammer and lever have traces of case color remaining. Complete with set trigger. Crisp tight action. Walnut stock set have a little extra figure as well as a rarely seen uncheckered pistol grip with ebony inlay. Rifle style buttplate. Complete with Cody Research Form verifying this unique configuration. This one is sure to fill a hole in someones collection! Made in 1887.
