Gun has extra finish wood about a 1x grade. Complete with a rifle style buttplate. 24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 44 WCF caliber. Correct Winchester sights. Very nice bore with sharp rifling. Barrel and mag retain about 30-40% blue turning a plum color. Receiver has about 20% case color on one side and traces on the opposite side. Lever is crisp and tight. Dust cover functions nicely. A very attractive gun with set trigger and comes complete with an interesting Factory Letter stating that it was made in 1888 and then received in the warehouse in 1889 and then shipped in 1891.
