1873 Winchester Third Model in .32 WCF
Description:
SALE PENDING. We have here a Cody Museum factory lettered 1873 Winchester, Third Model, in .32 WCF. This is a very pretty gun that has had the receiver and barrel charcoal blued and hammer, lever, and fore end tip color case hardened by Doug Turnbull (done in 2000...not a full restoration). Nice wood. Straight stock. 24 inch octagon barrel with a newly relined bore. Standard Number 21 Blade front sight and 32-B Elevator rear sight. Serial number 708852B, made in August, 1914. Operationally very sound. Very light handling marks. This is a particularly lovely rifle that, while not a collectible due to it's rework, would make a nice addition to any gun cabinet and is a good shooter to boot. Shipping and insurance $100. Personal checks OK. 3% charge for credit cards
