Winchester 1873 Deluxe Rifle in 38 Cal

My beautiful 1873 Deluxe with many factory options (see letter). This rifle has a rare 26" full octagon barrel with equally rare button magazine giving it a fantastic balance for hunting.

Wood - Original 3x fancy walnut that is checkered on forearm and stock with factory ordered shotgun butt. The burl wood has a beautiful deep color and matches throughout. No cracks with only minor blemishes. The checkering is worn but is visible in all places with no worn off spots. The pistol grip has an ebony inlay.
Receiver - The case hardened receiver has is a beautiful nickely color and very smooth with no mars. The loading gate still has blued color remaining. The 26" barrel has a smooth brownish color with all the correct marking. The bore is excellent showing strong lands. The rear sight is a flat top express and the front sight is a special Lyman Hunting sight. The lever has no droop and the color is consistent with the trigger and hammer. The rifle has a very rare set trigger. i'm not sure how it works as I have never fired the gun. I would recommend having it checked out professionally if you ointend to fire it.
Butt Plate - Steel shotgun type plate with a finish similar to the barrel.
