Rare Hawaiian Winchester 1876 Musket. Made in 1882. Extremely rare gun! This gun has a smooth grayish-brown patina on the metal surface. Wood is very good. This is the rarest of the variations in the 1876. This is one of the guns sent over to Hawaii through a purchase by arms and military goods dealer Joseph Frazier in New York who sent these L.S. Lawrence and Company exporters to Hawaii. All of these guns were on order number “35449”. All of these guns were almost certainly issued to the Hawaiian government. This is only the 4th or 5th musket that we have seen in 42 years of business. Rear sight is replaced otherwise all original.
