Description: W3566 SPECIAL ORDER WINCHESTER MODEL 1876 EXPRESS RIFLE IN 50-95; 26 inch round barrel chambered in the big bore 50-95 Express caliber with a very good bore showing some light roughness but strong rifling. Special order features include half mag and set trigger along with factory sling swivels. Barrel has a gray/brown patina with traces of blue. Sights include a small German silver blade front and standard sporting rear. Receiver is a silvery gray with slight hints of case color. Correct 50 Cal. markings on the dust cover as well as the brass lifter. Hammer and lever look a lot like the receiver. Walnut stocks are in fine condition with the usual light dings. Buttstock has been lightly refinished long ago as the buttplate is a little proud to the wood. The rifle comes with a factory letter confirming the features and configuration and oddly lists the rifle as being engraved with "Frank P. Acency USA", but this does not actually appear anywhere on thew rifle, perhaps an error in the record keeping department. Fine functioning action.
