Guns International #: 101294147
Seller's Inventory #: W9409
Winchester 1876 Deluxe Rifle. .45-60 Caliber made in 1883. This is a beautiful gun restored to new condition. Some pitting can still be seen, but does not distract from the gun overall. This gun letters as scene including the shorter than normal stock. The letter makes no mention of the caliber which typical means this gun was in .45-75, but this gun is in .45-60. Included are copies of the factory ledgers which has guns in .45-60 on either side of the serial number and since this gun was a deluxe pistol grip checkered stock, our conclusion is this was a mistake where they forgot to notate the caliber with the extra features they were putting down.
