Description:
Per the Cody Firearms Museum this rifle was received in the warehouse April 22, 1881 and shipped April 26, 1881
standard configured rifle in 45-60 Caliber with an octagon barrel and a set trigger.
partial bluing remains but mostly has a patina finish. Wood remains solid with original finish and only minor dings. The barrel
has some edge wear, not to bad. The address and caliber marking are worn but very readable.. The bore is fair with some
spotting and riflings are all present. The dust cover is loose and doesn't snap shut like it should. There are some light
dings in the magazine tube that you feel more than see. Action and trigger all work well. Asking $4000.00 Thanks for looking
