Description: For sale we have an antique Winchester model 1876 lever action rifle in .45-60. This is an 1886 manufactured lever action rifle is in very good condition for the vintage with original straight grip walnut stock and forend, trapdoor crescent steel buttplate, a 28" round barrel with blade front sight and ladder rear sight, and full length magazine tube. Gun is very clean overall with some trace amounts of original bluinig, but mostly fine brown patina. Gun is mechanically excellent. Bore was quite dirty when we received it, but after cleaning, it shows good (softened) rifling with typical frosting throughout and one small spot of pitting. This is a very fine example of Winchester's first big bore lever action rifle, and 45-60 ammo is still available from at least one modern manufacturer. Yes, we will accept firearms on trade.
