FANTASTIC DLX WINCHESTER MODEL 1876 RIFLE CAL 45-60
Description: This gun is known best from the Ray Bentley collection. Winchester made just over 220 of the 28 inch half octagon barrel chambered in 45-60 WCF caliber. Has a button mag and a mint bore. Features a Lyman blade front sight and Winchester Buckhorn rear sight with a low base folding adjustable tang sight. Original pistol grip checkered deluxe wood is in excellent plus condition with nearly all the original varnish. Complete with a very scare Horn style butt plate. Gun retains about 98% of the original bright vivid and glossy barrel blue. Receiver has 95% bright vivid case colors. Thinning on the bottom side of the receiver towards the front. Yet the colors on the rest of the receiver are good, rich, and bright. Dust cover has all the blue on it. The mechanical condition is excellent plus. Crisp and tight. Has a Cody factory letter confirming the configuration even Horn shotgun buttplate. Hard to improve upon. It is just a great gun.
