Here is a chance to own a real Winchester 1876 .50 Express at a modest price. It was custom built short rifle using Winchester original Winchester 1876 frame barrel and furniture. It is the desired octagon barrel in a short rifle mode of 20 inches. The bore is perfect ( not a liner) and all of the mechanicals parts are tight crisp and show little wear. It has an aftermarket replica vernier tang sight and conventional front and rear sights. The stocks are checkered and the crescent butt plate is a bright nickel. The blue is virtually all there and all of the markings are crisp and sharp. There is no corrosion or pits on the metal whatsoever. A standard non deluxe model in this condition and caliber and configuration - if factory original would be a fifteen thousand dollar prize all day long. I have ammo to go with it.
