WINCHESTER MODEL 1876 RIFLE IN 45-60 WCF

Description:
28 inch octagon barrel chambered in 45-60 WCF caliber with a bore that has some light scattered pitting and visible rifling. Sights include a brass blade front and "1876" marked folding ladder rear. Barrel and full length magazine tube are a mottled gray/brown with a few small dents in the barrel and magazine tube on the left side towards the muzzle. Receiver is a mottled gray/brown with a small area of pitting on the right side. Hammer and lever are gray with scattered pinprick pitting. Thumb print dust cover. Faded blue on the loading gate. Functioning action. Walnut stock set has been sanded and is shy at the wrist and buttplate with a couple of chips out and some light handling mars and a rifle style buttplate. A well used looking Winchester rifle that was made in 1880.
